I think that all should be treated equally and with respect, my time and experiences in Maycomb and witnessing the way many whites commonly treat blacks, has reinforced this belief in me very strongly.In the social class of Maycomb I am a child, this gives me little respect, however I am white which still puts me at an unfair social advantage over any African American person in Maycomb. I contributed to the story whenI am significant to the story because i am somewhat of an outsider looking at the events occurring in the small town of Maycomb.
